Portrait Work - who's that??

I have started the Stitchbook Collective Year 2 and the first section is making portraits. I always looked at stitched portraits and thought I could never do that - I am surprising myself, with the expert tuition, step by step instructions and supporting video links, I am so enjoying the process of putting a portrait in stitch together. My first portrait was to be a self portrait; after finding a photograph of myself, off I went with it. The likeness is there, not spot on, but I am sure I can keep improving as I go along. I added textural stitching to the portrait for the hair and the background. I also added stitching to the dress material. I must move onto the next one, I am getting a bit of bug wanting to do more........
