New - interiors

Interiors - this year I am working to create a selection of interiors work of the inside of my own home for art trails and exhibitions as one of my mixed media areas. This painting depicts a seating area with patio doors overlooking the garden. I like to have little pieces to paint and just loved the bust, it gives an air of grace to that little area. I begin with sketching and then move onto ink on canvas and heavy body acrylic paint with the addition of flow acrylics in some areas. ' Looking out' is almost finished - needs a little more before I put on a high gloss varnish.
